Bajaj Auto launched a CNG three-wheeler cargo vehicle

July 29, 2016. The Bajaj Maxima C CNG is powered by a 199 cc, four-stroke engine, which develops around 9.4 BHP at 5,500 rpm and 14.6 Nm of torque at 3,750 rpm. Bajaj engineers have equipped the new three-wheeler cargo carrier with a Power suspension system that comprises of helical coil compression spring and hydraulic shock absorbers.

   The Maxima C has a loading bay of length 1,650 mm, width 1,425 mm and height 275 mm. Though the automaker hasn’t revealed the maximum payload capacity, the company claims it to be 'relatively higher in its class'.

   Bajaj currently has the Maxima with a diesel engine option on sale. The company hopes to enhance its footprint in the segment by the launch of the new CNG three-wheeler.
